Cookie Policy

Effective August 3, 2026.

This policy describes the browser cookies and similar website technologies used by FIGURICH LTD on unimetype.com. The Privacy Policy describes the related personal-data processing and your rights.

1. Cookies currently used

• Account session cookies. After sign-in, UnimeType sets security-protected Better Auth session cookies to keep the browser signed in, validate protected requests, and support sign-out and device-session management. Blocking them prevents signed-in website features from working.
• Language preference. `NEXT_LOCALE` stores the selected website language. It uses `SameSite=Lax` and is not used for advertising.
• Security cookies. Cloudflare or Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie when needed to distinguish a successful security challenge, apply rate limits, or protect sign-in and forms from automated abuse.
• Analytics choice. `unimetype:analytics-consent:v1` stores either `accepted` or `rejected` in Local Storage so the website can apply and display the selected PostHog mode.
• PostHog analytics storage. PostHog cookies and Local Storage are used only after Allow analytics cookies is selected. They contain an analytics identity, session data, and SDK configuration used to recognize later visits and associate website events with a pseudonymous signed-in account identity.

UnimeType does not set advertising, targeting, or social-media cookies.

2. Website measurement

Before a choice is made, PostHog sends no website events. Selecting Use cookieless analytics enables privacy-preserving aggregate measurement without a PostHog cookie, Local Storage identifier, Session Storage identifier, or account identification. PostHog calculates a server-side hash for audience counting and discards the request IP address under the project setting.

Selecting Allow analytics cookies enables persistent PostHog storage. PostHog can then recognize later visits and associate website events with the domain-separated hash of a signed-in UnimeType account. The raw account ID, name, and email are not sent to PostHog.

Both modes can send the page path, external Referrer origin and domain, normalized UTM slugs, browser and operating-system categories, signed-in state, and selected target platform. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, OpenPanel, Vercel Analytics, and the other optional third-party analytics components in the source tree are not rendered by the current website analytics entry point.

3. Provider pages

If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, purchase through an app store or website payment provider, or follow a link to another site, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Those cookies are not controlled by this website policy.

4. Controls

Use the persistent Analytics settings button to change between analytics-cookie and cookieless modes. Switching to cookieless mode removes the PostHog browser identity and prevents later website events from being associated with the account. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking account-session or security cookies can prevent sign-in, account settings, purchase management, or protected forms from working.

If UnimeType introduces another non-essential browser cookie or storage identifier, FIGURICH LTD will update this policy and provide a consent control before using it where required.
