How UnimeType converts text
UnimeType keeps you on an English Latin keyboard while you type. When you choose Convert, the keyboard sends the current text to the compatible endpoint configured in the containing app and replaces the text with the returned result.
This interaction is full-string conversion. It is not candidate-by-candidate Pinyin composition: UnimeType does not show a system-style candidate row or ask you to select each Chinese character while typing.
Three explicit actions
- Convert changes natural Latin input or transliteration into the target writing system.
- Polish rewrites the selected text or current input.
- Explain returns an explanation before you use unfamiliar wording.
The network request begins only after you choose one of these actions. In BYOK mode, the request target is the compatible endpoint saved in the UnimeType app.
